Unser altes Gasthaus
This apartment is located in an almost 500 year old guest house. The Gasthaus Sternen was built in 1531. If you stay in this centrally located accommodation, your family will have all the important points of contact very close by.
In der Dorfmitte, etwa 2-3 Gehminuten befindet sich ein Hallenbad mit Wellnessbereich (Sauna, Dampfbad…), Cafeteria.

LOCATION
In Aeschi bei Spiez und Aeschiried finden Sie ein familienfreundliches Wintersportgebiet mit zwei Skiliften, zwei Trainingsliften und Kinderschlittelpiste.
Aeschi (860 m above sea level) and the slightly higher Aeschiried (1000 m above sea level) are located on a sun terrace in the heart of the Bernese Oberland and offer a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain panorama and Lake Thun. The village of Emdthal and parts of Mülenen (both located in the Kandertal) also belong to the municipality of Aeschi.
Aeschi can be reached quickly by public transport (train to Spiez and PostBus to Aeschi / Aeschiried) as well as by private car. For example, the travel time by public transport Bern - Aeschi is only about 40 minutes!

DER NIESEN (2,362 meters) offers numerous hiking trails. Experience the diverse beauties of nature and combine your hike with a historic train ride on the Niesen and a visit to the Berghaus Niesen Kulm.
Red and white marked mountain hiking trails require more caution. We recommend wearing hiking shoes with non-slip soles and a rain cover, even when the weather is nice. The mountain hiking trails require surefootedness and a good physical condition.

THE BLAUSEE NATURE PARK
The area around the Blausee has a lot to offer: A mystical nature park with walking paths, fire pits, picnic areas and a children's playground. A visit to the Blausee Café or discover the lake from a glass-bottom boat - all in the midst of a unique backdrop.

WELCOME TO NATURE ON THE OESCHINENSEE
The Oeschinensee is part of the Unesco World Heritage and is considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps. It lies above Kandersteg and is an intact mountain lake that is fed by the glacier streams of the three-thousand-meter Blüemlisalp, Oeschinenhorn, Fründenhorn and Doldenhorn. Water rats, nature lovers and hikers get their money's worth here.
