Skiing
In Aeschi and Aeschiried you will find a family-friendly winter sports area with 2 ski lifts, 2 training lifts, a children's ski lift and a toboggan run. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Thun and the surrounding mountain panorama from our two small but excellent ski areas. No waiting times.
An experienced and extremely child-friendly snow sports school awaits you. If the Aeschiallmend ski lifts have to close, the Aeschi Snowsports School will hold lessons in the Oeschinensee ski area in Kandersteg.
Cross-country trails
Beginners, advanced and specialists have around 30 km of classic cross-country trails and 30 km of skating slopes from Aeschi via Aeschried to the Suldtal, as well as 4 km of night trails in Aeschiried.
The night trail is automatically illuminated from Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
By purchasing a cross-country ski trail pass - valid for one winter season - you are making a valuable and welcome contribution to the maintenance of the local cross-country ski trails. Children up to the age of 15 can use the trails free of charge.

Aeschiried Christmas Path
We warmly welcome you to the Weihnachtswäg in Aeschiried and invite you to pause for a moment in the hectic Advent/Christmas season. We will tell you the Christmas story in 6 pictures. Take the path under your feet, follow the markings (signposts) and let yourself be guided by the magic of winter, the candlelight and the special atmosphere.
The Aeschi Christmas Path is open annually from November 28th to January 6th.
